This step of enabling the iPhone users with GPS is taken up by the “Part Foundry” people, the “developer of OEM parts” and also its products. They have come up with a “GPS module” that can be easily plugged into, at the bottom of the iPhone. This “GPS module” is named as the “locoGPS for iPhone”. The positioning accuracy of this “locoGPS for iPhone” is said to be around 5 meters to 10 meters.
This “locoGPS for iPhone” includes other useful feature like the “SIRF Star III chip”. The “locoGPS for iPhone” is also equipped with an “integrated mini-USB connector” exclusively for “passing through iPhone charging”. There’s more, an “open source software” is also enabled for the iPhone users which can be used for “community improvements”. And imagine folks, all this for just $90, ain’t I dreaming? Good lord. Somebody please give me a pinch.
