Unlocked iPhone in trouble

Oct 03, 2007 in iPhone, iPhone Security

Well, well, well…many seem to have tried on the latest ‘iPhone Firmware update 1.1.1’. I can hear many cry. The bad news is that folks nothing has come to the rescue of iPhone lovers, who made the mistake of hacking or unlocking their dear iPhone. The news is confirmed that the new update has indeed ‘bricked’ all the iPhone that had undergone unlocking or hacking. Many had a ray of hope from the ‘iPhone Dev Team’, but seems that even they failed this time. You know? One off my friend had a heart attack on seeing his bricked iPhone. God save him, no, lets plead- Apple save him.

The error is that an updated iPhone demands for a new unlocked sim for functioning properly. I came across this news saying that even the iPhone that is factory fresh shows this error on updating. Man, now even these new people are under terror on this horrible move. Save all. But folks, think positive. We all know that iPhone wants everyone to be happy, this situation won’t last long. I can see only one way out, that is to buy a new ‘sim’. Well, can see many of you slamming the door, but hope that there’s a better way out. Till then, don’t stop praying.
