A great news for all you iPhone freaks who love to record music. The news is that you can now use your iPhone as a remote control for the “Pro Tools LE”, which is “Audio recording software”, very effectively. The brain behind this new application is of a developer named “Alex Leievre”. Alex stated that the code of the apps is yet to be certified by the Apple after which it is all set to be sold, which is scheduled for the February.
This software is said to be distributed in parts, say firstly on the iPhone as the remote, secondly the server which is the “main brain” behind this apps and lastly the “MIDI driver” exclusively for effective communication with the “ProTools”. There are also various other technical aspects involved in this, which are yet under construction. The best thing is that, this all will be available legally to all the iPhone users, so need of any tampering with our iPhone.
This new apps is all packed with latest features like the “audio signal feeds”, “track status with detailed feedback” and also “transport controls”. The server for this app is said to be only “Mac” for the time being, but the possibility of it being passed to “Windows” can not be denied. This new application runs very effectively for all the iPhone as well as the iPod touch. Great work Alex, eagerly looking forward for its further development.
